Scope

This standard applies to wastewater discharge units in the chemical synthesis pharmaceutical industry during the production and operation phase, for monitoring the discharged water and air pollutants, noise, and their impact on the surrounding environmental quality. This standard also applies to wastewater discharge units such as pharmaceutical intermediary factories dedicated to drug production and veterinary drug production enterprises with structures similar to chemical synthesis drugs. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generators (factories) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
