Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, fertilization, pruning, and pest and disease control for the cultivation and management of Hangzhou craft white tea gardens. This document is applicable to the cultivation and management of tea gardens in the production areas of Hangzhou craft white tea. Main technical content: 3. Terms and definitions: The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Hangzhou craft white tea production tea gardens refer to tea gardens within the administrative area of Hangzhou City, which mainly produce high-quality tea and also produce GB/T 22291-certified craft white tea. 4. Picking 4.1 Picking standards: In accordance with GB/T 22291. 4.2 Picking methods: Pick 2-3 leaves according to the requirements of the product. Use the "pick by hand" method to ensure that the buds and leaves are intact, fresh, and clean. Avoid picking by plucking or grabbing. 5. Fertilization 5.1 Fertilizer requirements: Comply with the requirements of GB/T 15063, GB/T 18877, and NY/T 525. 5.2 Base fertilization: Apply base fertilizer from mid-October to early November in combination with deep tillage. Apply 200-500 kg of organic fertilizer and 20-30 kg of tea-specific compound fertilizer per mu of tea garden. Open a 15-20 cm-deep trench directly under the tree crown, and apply fertilizer immediately after spreading and covering with soil. 5.3 Top-dressing fertilization 5.3.1 Spring tea bud stimulation fertilization: Apply 15–20 kg of urea or 30–40 kg of tea-specific fertilizer per mu 15–20 days before spring tea harvest, in late February to early March. Open a 10 cm-deep trench directly under the tree crown and apply fertilizer immediately after spreading and covering with soil. 5.3.2 Summer-autumn tea top-dressing fertilization: Apply 10–15 kg of urea or 20–30 kg of tea-specific fertilizer per mu from late April to early May and from late June to early July.
