Scope

This standard applies to pharmaceutical wastewater discharge units in the extraction-type pharmaceutical industry during the production and operation phase, for monitoring the water and air pollutants they emit, as well as noise and their impact on the surrounding environmental quality. This standard also applies to wastewater discharge units in the production of veterinary drugs that are structurally similar to extraction-type drugs. The self-monitoring requirements for self-owned thermal power generators (plants) and supporting power boilers shall be implemented in accordance with HJ 820.
