Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements, test methods, and inspection rules for fixed seam welding machines.
This standard applies to various types of fixed seam welding machines (hereinafter referred to as welding machines) powered by voltages not exceeding those specified in Table 1 of GB/T 156—2007.
The resistance welding machine controller (hereinafter referred to as the controller) and the welding machine can be integrated into a single device, or separated into separate equipment. However, regardless of the structure, they are all applicable to this standard.
Note: This standard does not include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
