Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements, inspection methods, and inspection rules for fixed resistance spot welders and flash spot welders.
This standard applies to various types of fixed resistance spot welders and flash spot welders (hereinafter referred to as welders) powered by voltages not exceeding those specified in Table 1 of GB/T 156—2007.
The resistance welding controller (hereinafter referred to as the controller) and the welder can be integrated into a single device, or separated into separate equipment. However, regardless of the structure, they are all applicable to this standard.
Note: This standard does not include electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) requirements.
