Basic Information
Scope
Main technical content: Planting techniques. Before planting, dig holes about 30cm in length, width, and depth. When planting, remove the grafting film on the seedlings, prune the roots and branches of the seedlings appropriately, cut off the excess main roots (leaving 15cm-20cm), remove the injured roots and tender late autumn shoots. Place the roots of the seedlings in the center of the hole, spread out the roots, straighten them, and fill in fine soil while gently pulling up the seedlings and compacting the soil to ensure a close fit between the soil and the roots. After filling in the soil, make a 1m-diameter tree disk around the seedling, water it thoroughly to help it take root, and cover it with fine soil. The planting depth should allow the root neck of the seedling to be exposed above the ground. Within one month after planting, no fertilizer should be applied. Water the seedlings frequently. In arid seasons or regions, after watering, the tree disk can be covered with film, straw, weeds, or husks to retain moisture.
