Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for high-purity zinc, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, storage, quality certificates, and the content of contracts (or purchase orders).
This standard applies to high-purity zinc produced using the vacuum distillation process from zinc raw materials with a purity of 99.995% and 99.99%. High-purity zinc products are mainly used in the preparation of semiconductor compounds, infrared luminescent materials, advanced alloys, etc. High-purity zinc granules and high-purity zinc powders can be used as chemical reagents, etc.
