Scope

This standard specifies the minimum requirements for screw-toothed, twisted-blade, and straight-blade rotary oil-free air compressors (hereinafter referred to as compressors) used in oil refineries with a pressure not exceeding 0.2 MPa, and it is applicable to air (and other inert gases) compressors operating continuously in production processes.
This standard is not applicable to oil-injection rotary compressors.
