Scope
This standard specifies the classification and coding of IoT identification applications in transportation, including the basic classification of transportation objects, as well as the classification and coding of transportation practitioners, transportation vehicles, transportation infrastructure, on-board and shipboard equipment, roadside and shore-side traffic electromechanical node equipment, and other objects. This standard is applicable to the identification coding applications of transportation objects involved in highway and waterway transportation. The classification and coding of identification for other modes of transportation can be used for reference.
