Scope

Main Technical Content: 5. Cultivation Techniques 5.1 Variety Selection - Select hybrid first-generation seeds or tissue-cultured seedlings that are resistant to diseases, high-yielding, stress-tolerant, adaptable, and of good commercial quality. - Seed purity ≥ 95%, seed purity ≥ 97%, germination rate ≥ 80%, and moisture content ≤ 8%. 5.2 Seedling Production 5.2.1 Seed Treatment - Disinfect seeds with 75% Powdery Mildew Control (wettable powder) at 800 times dilution for 2 hours. After rinsing, soak the seeds in water at 25-28°C for 36 hours, rinsing and changing the water 1-2 times during this period. 5.2.2 Germination Promotion - After the seeds swell, maintain their moisture and promote germination at 25-28°C. Wash the seeds with clean water 1-2 times daily. Plant the seeds when 20-30% of them show white radicles. 5.2.3 Seedling Method - Use nutrient pots for seedling production. The nutrient soil is typically prepared by sieving non-asparagus-growing loam and composted organic fertilizer, with a ratio of 3:1 by volume. The nutrient pots should be 7-10 cm high and have a diameter of 7-10 cm. 5.2.4 Seeding - On the day before sowing, fully water the nutrient pots. When sowing, first make a small hole in the center of the pot, then plant a single germinated seed into the hole and cover it with nutrient soil to a depth of 1.5-2 cm. 5.2.5 Seedling Management - Ensure sufficient watering during the seedling stage, maintaining a relative soil humidity of 60-70%. Apply quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer to promote seedling growth and prevent burn damage. Regularly remove weeds from the nutrient pots and control pests and diseases. 5.3 Planting Trench - Before digging the planting trench, plow and level the planting area. Dig trench rows 40 cm wide and 40 cm deep at a spacing of 54.2 cm (row spacing), oriented north-south. Separate the upper and lower layers of soil during digging, and layer the upper layer o
