Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, facilities, equipment and environment, service hours, service content, service guarantee, and service supervision and feedback of the juvenile and children's services in public libraries. This standard applies to the juvenile and children's (hereinafter referred to as "children's") borrowing services in public libraries at the county (city) level and above. Street and township-level public libraries, as well as grassroots service points of various libraries run by communities, villages, and social forces, primary and secondary school libraries, and kindergarten libraries can refer to and implement it accordingly.
