Scope: This document specifies the scope of application, terms and definitions, registration content, registration process, and passport issuance for the registration and management of horses. This document applies to all horse registration and management work within China. Main technical content: This standard applies to the registration and filing of Chinese thoroughbred horses. Any horse with practical value (stallions, mares, castrated horses, or foals) may apply for registration with the Registration and Management Committee for Thoroughbred Horses of the China Horse Industry Association. The main content includes: pedigree registration, naming registration, breeding registration, import registration, export registration, breed certification, and establishing horse files, as well as the standard for charging registration fees and the issuance process for passports and certificates.
