GB/T 18497.2-2019 Characteristics of electric infrared emitters for industrial heating—Part 2:Mediumwave and longwave electric infrared emitters
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 18497 specifies the type structure, specifications, and basic parameters of medium- and long-wave electric infrared emitters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This part is applicable to various non-metallic and metallic electric infrared emitters (hereinafter referred to as emitters) with a peak radiation wavelength of not less than 2 μm used for industrial heating.
The infrared radiation characteristics parameters such as normal total emissivity, spectral emissivity, infrared radiation wavelength range, effective radiation energy ratio, infrared radiation energy density, electric-heat radiation conversion efficiency, and temperature non-uniformity of the radiation surface, etc., also apply to the detection and evaluation of various materials and devices with infrared radiation functions.
Emitters used in scientific research, agriculture, healthcare, building heating, transportation, food, and aquaculture can also refer to this part for use.
