Scope

This standard specifies the peel test method for the adhesion performance between the sole and the upper of a complete shoe. This standard is applicable to footwear made by processes such as molding, vulcanization, injection molding, infusion, and gluing. The adhesion performance between the outsole and the out-midsole can be tested for reference. This standard is not applicable to sewn footwear.
