Scope
This standard specifies the types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and markings of anticorrosive magnetic fluted level gauges (hereinafter referred to as level gauges), as well as their packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to level gauges with a fully sealed PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) material as the anticorrosive isolation layer (hereinafter referred to as the isolation layer). These level gauges are suitable for the detection and control of the liquid level in strong acids, strong alkalis, and highly corrosive liquids.
