Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, usage conditions, rated values, technical requirements, structure, testing, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of fully insulated medium-voltage cast busbars used in the conventional island of pressurized water reactors (hereinafter referred to as cast busbars). It can be used as a reference for fully insulated medium-voltage cast busbars used in other power plants. This standard applies to the selection, ordering, and testing of cast busbars for medium-voltage factory systems with a nominal voltage of 6kV to 20kV, a current of 6,300A or less, and a frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz.
