Scope
This calibration system is suitable for the calibration of luminance (brightness) measuring instruments. It specifies the use of the national reference standard for luminance units, candela per square meter (cd/m2), the complete set of basic measuring instruments included in the reference standard, the metrological parameters of the reference standard, and the procedure for transferring the value of luminance units to working measuring instruments with the help of secondary references, working references, and standards. It also specifies their uncertainties and basic calibration methods.
