Measuring Instrument Calibration System for α and β Surface Contamination*
This calibration system is suitable for α and β surface contamination meters (or monitors) and for calibrating all levels of α and β plane sources used to calibrate them. It specifies the units of radioactive activity (Bq), the procedure for transferring unit values from national reference standards to working measuring instruments, and indicates their uncertainties and calibration methods.
