Scope

Main technical content: Rice containing selenium micronutrients, produced from selenium-rich soil or biological resources in Jiahe County, is naturally enriched with selenium during the growth process or through selenium bio-nutrition enhancement technology, rather than adding selenium after harvest. The total selenium content in the edible parts (calculated by dry weight) reaches 15 μg/100g~40 μg/100g, and the percentage of organic selenium in the total selenium content is ≥80%. 5.1 Variety selection: Wildxiang Youli and Wildxiang Youzi, which are suitable for cultivation in Jiahe County and have strong selenium enrichment capabilities, are selected. The seed quality meets the requirements of GB 4404.1. 5.2 Field management: Techniques such as seedling cultivation, soil preparation and fertilization, timely transplanting, reasonable planting density, fertilizer and water management, and pest and disease control can be implemented according to GB/T 17316 and local field management techniques. 5.3 Fertilizer application 5.3.1 General requirements: Organic fertilizers should be combined with inorganic and biological fertilizers to ensure a balanced application of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Silicon and zinc fertilizers should also be added. Base fertilizers should be combined with mechanical tillage to achieve full-layer application. Without increasing the total nitrogen fertilizer amount, reduce the amount of early-stage nitrogen fertilizer and increase the amount of panicle fertilizer to shift nitrogen application to the later stage. Fertilizer application should comply with the provisions of NY/T 394, NY/T 525, and NY/T 496. 5.3.2 Organic fertilizer application: Organic fertilizers meeting the quality requirements of NY 525 should be used as base fertilizers before transplanting and applied in a single dose during rotary tillage. The application amount should be 1500 kg/hm2~2250 kg/hm2. 5.3.3 Inorganic fertilizer application: Inorganic fer
