Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions, production environment, land preparation and fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging, and storage of "Xiangjiangyuan" chili peppers, as well as requirements for waste disposal, product quality, and production records. This document applies to the production of "Xiangjiangyuan" chili peppers. Main technical content: (1) This document stipulates the terms and definitions, production environment, land preparation and fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, field management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging, and storage of "Xiangjiangyuan" chili peppers. (2) The production environment conditions of this document should comply with T/XJY 1001 "Quality Requirements for the Production Environment of 'Xiangjiangyuan' Vegetables", and requirements for land selection are also specified. (3) Based on the successful experience and practices of current "Xiangjiangyuan" chili pepper production, this document stipulates the requirements for the entire cultivation process, including land preparation and fertilization, seedling cultivation (including variety selection, sowing time, seedling management, and strong seedling specifications), transplanting, field management (including water management, fertilizer application), harvesting, and waste disposal. For example, in the section on land preparation and fertilization, requirements are specified for deep plowing and sunning of the soil, disinfection, fertilizer types and quantities, trenching and ridge construction, and ridge surface requirements. In the section on seedling cultivation, requirements are specified for variety types, seed quality, suitable sowing times for different variety types, seedling cultivation methods and sowing quantities, and temperature and humidity management during the seedling stage for direct sowing and transplanted seedlings.
