Scope

This standard specifies the procurement information, chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensions and allowable deviations, internal and surface quality, sampling, testing frequency, sample preparation, testing methods, inspection, rejection and re-inspection, and certification and marking requirements for NCu30-3-0.5 alloy products. This standard applies to hot-worked and cold-worked NCu30-3-0.5 alloy rods with circular, square, hexagonal, and rectangular cross-sections (hereinafter referred to as round rods, square rods, hexagonal rods, and flat rods), forgings, and forging blanks, as well as cold-worked wire rods.
