Scope

This standard specifies the testing methods, calculations, and parameter descriptions for the energy consumption of cold and hot chamber die-casting machines (hereinafter referred to as "die-casting machines"). This standard applies to the energy consumption testing of die-casting machines. This standard does not apply to the energy consumption testing of auxiliary equipment for die-casting machines, such as the insulation furnace, feeding, parts removal, and spraying equipment for cold chamber die-casting machines, and the parts removal and spraying equipment for hot chamber die-casting machines.
