Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, safety performance, inspection methods, marking and packaging of gear measuring centers. This standard is applicable to gear measuring centers (hereinafter referred to as "measuring centers") that can measure gears with a module of 0.5 or more and a top circle diameter of not more than 600 mm.
