Scope

This standard specifies the content and methods for the light distribution evaluation of automotive front lighting systems.
This standard applies to the light distribution evaluation of M-class and N-class automotive front lighting systems. It does not apply to adaptive driving beam systems (ADB). Adaptive front lighting systems (AFS) can be used as a reference.
Note: The definitions of M-class and N-class are provided in GB/T 15089, "Classification of Motor Vehicles and Trailers".
