Scope: This document specifies the breeding scope of Jingde yellow cattle, the selection and layout of cattle farms, feed and nutritional requirements, breeding of breeding cattle, management of breeding bulls, management of breeding cows, calf rearing management, adult cattle rearing management, adult female cattle rearing management, seasonal management, disease prevention and hygiene disinfection, harmless treatment, establishment of breeding records, and beef quality. This document is applicable to Jingde yellow cattle products; Main technical content: 4. Breeding scope of Jingde yellow cattle The administrative divisions of the breeding scope of Jingde yellow cattle include Jingyang Town, Caijiaqiao Town, Sanxi Town, Miaoshou Town, Baidi Town, Xinglong Town, Suncun Town, Yunle Town, Banshu Town, and Yucun Town in Jingde County, with geographical coordinates of 118°44′–118°15′ east longitude and 30°29′–30°7′ north latitude. 5. Site selection and layout of cattle farms 5.1 Site selection 5.1.1 The land used for cattle farms shall comply with national laws and regulations and the local county-level government's regulations on land use. 5.1.2 Newly built cattle farms shall meet the environmental requirements for cattle farms specified in NY/T 5128, and the existing environmental conditions of existing cattle farms shall meet the requirements of NY/T 388. 5.1.3 The site shall have sufficient water resources that are convenient to access, and the water quality shall comply with the relevant provisions of NY 5027. 5.1.4 There shall be sufficient places for the discharge of wastewater, excrement, bedding, and garbage, and the discharge of wastewater shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB 18596.
