Scope
This standard specifies the lighting quality requirements for classrooms in primary and secondary schools (including secondary vocational and technical schools) and kindergartens, including lighting quality indicators such as maintaining average illuminance, illuminance uniformity, uniform glare value, flicker, light source color temperature and color rendering, installation height, and lighting power density, as well as technical requirements and specifications for the lamps, light sources, and electrical equipment used. This standard applies to new, renovated, expanded, and existing classrooms, specialized classrooms, functional classrooms, public classrooms, and kindergarten activity rooms that need to improve their lighting environment.
