Scope

This standard specifies a set of codes and formats for equipment, enabling these devices to be connected via the GB/T 15946 bus. The standard also defines the communication protocols necessary for the independent exchange of device-related information during use, and further stipulates common commands and features commonly used in instrumentation system applications. This standard is designed for direct use in small and medium-sized instrumentation systems, and is also applicable to systems primarily composed of devices for measurement, excitation, and interconnection with instrumentation controllers. It can also be used for certain devices outside the scope of instrumentation systems. In addition to defining various device-related information, this standard also expands and further explains some of the interface functions contained in GB/T 15946, while maintaining compatibility with that standard.
