Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements for accelerated corrosion testing of steel in atmospheric environments. Such tests should be conducted under the conditions of outdoor exposure test stations (fields) for atmospheric corrosion in regions or seasons with relatively dry climates.
The purpose of this standard's tests is:
