This standard specifies the 17×18 dot matrix fonts of the CJK unified characters and their extended set A in the GB/T 13000 basic multilingual plane, as well as the mandatory Chinese characters in GB 18030.
This standard also specifies the 17×18 dot matrix fonts of the 196 Chinese characters in the Common Standard Chinese Character Table outside the GB/T 13000 basic multilingual plane.
