This guidance technical document provides guidance on how medical laboratories can implement a quality management system to meet the specialized technical and management requirements for quality and competence set forth in GB/T 22576—2008. Organizations accrediting the competence of medical laboratories can also use this guidance technical document as a foundation to assist laboratories in establishing a quality management system that meets national requirements and complies with relevant international standards. This guidance technical document is applicable to both newly established and existing laboratories, including the management and technical requirements of GB/T 22576—2008.
