Scope
This document stipulates the risk management of plant biosafety laboratories, the grading of biosafety protection levels, the configuration of facilities and equipment, and management requirements. This document is applicable to plant biosafety laboratories engaged in activities such as research on plant pests, prevention and control of plant epidemics and invasions of exotic species, research on genetically modified plants and biosafety assessments, and plant quarantine.
