Scope
The method described in this standard is used to assist users of ultrasound therapy equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment") in verifying the performance of such equipment. It is mainly applicable to physiotherapists, medical practitioners, chiropractors, orthopedists, beauticians, team doctors, biomedical engineers, medical physicists, medical device maintenance personnel, commercial testers, inspection agencies, or manufacturers, etc.
