Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This document specifies the terms and definitions for the rapid propagation of strawberry detoxified tissue-cultured seedlings by creeping stems, the main areas, transplanting of original seedlings, transplanting for planting, pest and disease control, and harvesting, etc. in cultivation management techniques. This document is applicable to the propagation of highland strawberry tissue-cultured seedlings. Main technical content: 5. Rapid propagation of seedlings 5.1 Selection of original seedlings: The plants should be healthy, free from pests and diseases, with a root stem diameter of more than 1 cm, short and thick petioles, and 7–8 normal compound leaves. The leaves should be large, thick in flesh, dark green in color, with full flower buds, a large number of flowers, and uniform flowering. The root system should be large, with many new roots and well-developed adventitious roots. 5.2 Transplanting of original seedlings 5.2.1 Preparation of soil: Deeply plow the soil to a depth of 30–40 cm and start ridge formation 3–5 days before transplanting. The ridge width should be 160–180 cm, with a ridge height of 10 cm and a ridge spacing of 50 cm. 5.2.2 Fertilization: Apply 40 kg/667 m2 of compound fertilizer as specified in GB/T 15063-2020, 300 kg/667 m2 of humic acid bio-organic fertilizer as specified in HG/T 5332-2018, and 10 kg/667 m2 of potassium sulfate fertilizer as specified in GB/T 20937-2018. Spread and bury the fertilizer evenly, and backfill the ridge with 3–5 cm of fine soil. Cover with a film. 5.2.3 Planting: The planting spacing of original seedlings should be 40 cm, with one row per ridge. Remove old leaves and some black old roots before planting. It is recommended to plant on cloudy days or in the evening of sunny days. After transplanting, install 16 mm diameter drip irrigation tapes and promptly water the seedlings to help them take root. 5.2.4 Seedling management: When the new seedlings grown from original seedlings have gr
