Scope

Main technical content: The quality and safety involve 110 kinds of traditional Chinese medicinal materials, with indicators including medicinal materials, sources, Latin names, inspection items, extracts and contents. All the limit values in the indicators are derived from the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China, local standards of various provinces and cities, and group standards. The most scientific limit values are selected as the limit values for the "Product Quality and Safety Indicator System for Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials on the Kunming City Green Food Industry Trade Platform". For 70 out of 110 traditional Chinese medicinal materials, grading specifications are provided. According to the TC/CACM "Commercial Specification and Grading Standards for Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials", local standards of various provinces and cities, and group standards, those medicinal materials with grading specifications are classified as the grading specifications for the "Product Quality and Safety Indicator System for Traditional Chinese Medicinal Materials on the Kunming City Green Food Industry Trade Platform". For other medicinal materials without grading specifications, they are traded according to bulk goods or as agreed upon by both parties. When new versions of the cited standards appear and the limit values in this document are inconsistent with them or new limit values are introduced, the judgments shall be made according to the latest promulgated standard limit values. All plant-based medicinal materials specified in this document shall be tested for pesticide residues in accordance with the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China. For unlisted traditional Chinese medicinal materials, it is recommended to follow the provisions of this document.
