Scope

This standard specifies the evaluation method for the anti-wear performance of diesel engine oil under high torque and low to medium speed conditions of light-duty diesel engines. After the test, the performance of the engine oil is judged by measuring the wear degree of the driven rollers. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of diesel engine oils such as API CG-4, CH-4, CI-4, CI-4+, and CJ-4.
