T/LSSGB 001-019-2019 Lishui Mountain Farming: Operational Guidelines for Storage and Transportation of Ginger
Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This regulation stipulates the quality requirements and product grades of ginger, as well as the operational technical requirements for harvesting, storage, withdrawal from storage, and transportation, etc. This regulation applies to red claw ginger produced in Lishui. Main technical content: The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Cork layer: The protective tissue on the surface of aged ginger. 3.2 Round-headed (retained-head) ginger blocks: After harvesting, the root stem gradually ages, and the skin and flesh adhere to each other, forming a thick and hard-to-peel intact pericarp. The residual stem completely falls off, and the scars gradually heal and flatten out, with the top bud growing into a round shape.
