Scope

This standard applies to three-phase salient-pole synchronous hydroelectric generators directly connected to water turbines with a unit power of 10 MW (rated capacity of 12,500 kVA) or less; hydroelectric turbine control systems with a working capacity of 350 N?m to 75,000 N?m (including electric-hydraulic combined governors and hydraulic devices); excitation systems with an excitation current of 500 A or less; and the corresponding monitoring, protection, and DC power supply systems.
