Main Technical Content: 4. Site Environment and Planning - The planting area of Sibo Muag Xing in the production region is free from industrial and mining enterprises, ensuring an unpolluted environment. It meets the requirements of NY/T 391. - Site planning includes small area division, road planning, irrigation and drainage systems, and the establishment of protective forests. 5. Variety Selection and Rootstock Selection - Local varieties adapted to local soil and climate characteristics, with high yield, excellent quality, and suitable ripening periods, such as Sibo Muag Xing, are selected as the main cultivars. - Pollinating varieties with good hybrid compatibility, consistent flowering periods, high pollen quantity, and good economic value are selected. - Rootstocks such as mountain apricot, common apricot, and wool peach can all be used. 6. Planting Material Quality - One-year-old robust seedlings are selected (see Table 1 for standards). **Table 1: Quality Standards for Sibo Muag Xing Seedlings** Parameter Standard First Grade Second Grade - Root and stem damage: no splits or cracks; no dry skin on roots. - Main root length: ≥30 cm. - Lateral root number: ≥43. - Lateral root length: ≥10 cm. - Stem diameter: ≥0.4 cm. - Stem height: ≥130 cm. - Grafting site: fully healed buds. - Buds on main stem: ≥8 full buds within 40–60 cm of stem. - Buds on main stem: ≥6 full buds within 40–60 cm of stem. 7. Pre-planting Preparation - Level and improve the soil before planting. - Dig planting holes 70–100 cm deep and wide, separating topsoil from subsoil. - Fill the bottom of the hole with 30 cm of crop straw. - Add 50 kg of organic fertilizer to the topsoil and mix well before backfilling. - Water thoroughly to compact the soil. - Plant in spring after soil thawing and before bud sprouting, or in autumn after leaf fall and before soil freezing. - Planting density depends on site conditions, variety characte
