Scope
This standard specifies the method of measuring the hardness of copper and copper alloys using a portable Weiss hardness tester (hereinafter referred to as the Weiss hardness tester). This standard is applicable to the hardness measurement of copper and copper alloy materials, with a measurement range equivalent to Rockwell hardness 30~96 HRF and 53~92 HRB.
