Scope

This document stipulates the quality management requirements for the selection, evaluation, procurement, manufacturing, acceptance, and use of welding materials for safety-critical items in nuclear power plants.
This document applies to the quality management of welding materials for mechanical safety-critical items in nuclear power plants, including welding rods, welding wires, welding tapes, and welding fluxes. The quality management of welding materials for other safety-critical items shall be implemented in accordance with this document.
