Scope

This document specifies the evaluation requirements, evaluation content, and methods for functional assessment of unilateral forearm amputees after fitting them with functional forearm prostheses. This document is applicable to the evaluation of amputees' ability to use forearm prostheses after prosthetic fitting institutions have fitted them with functional forearm prostheses. This document is not applicable to the functional assessment of forearm prostheses for amputees with significant functional disorders in their healthy hands, as well as those suffering from cognitive disorders, mental disorders, or aphasia.
