Scope

Scope: This document specifies the common tools and technical specifications for routine hoof trimming of horses. This document is applicable to horse farms, equestrian clubs, and other facilities engaged in routine hoof trimming of horses. Main technical content: The main technical content consists of four parts. Part 1 specifies the preparations before hoof trimming, including the preparation of personnel and hoof trimming tools. Part 2 specifies the methods of restraining horses. Horse restraint is divided into physical restraint and chemical restraint.
