Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, specimens, test conditions, test procedures, calculations, and test reports for the tensile properties of carbon/carbon composites at room temperature. This standard is applicable to the determination of tensile strength, tensile elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio, and proportional limit stress and strain of three-dimensional stitched carbon/carbon composites and quasi-three-dimensional needle-punched carbon/carbon composites at room temperature. Carbon/carbon composites with similar structures can also be referenced for implementation.
