Scope: This standard specifies the environmental conditions of the production sites, site selection and planning, fruit quality standards, flower and fruit management, shaping and pruning, soil and fertilizer management, pest and disease control, and harvesting techniques for standardized production of Jinzhou apples. Apples should be grown in the "suitable zones". 4.1.2 Site planning Sand loam soil is preferred. Higher-altitude sites, slope-land, and secondary highlands are ideal. The soil should be deep, generally over 80 cm, with loose texture and good permeability (porosity > 10%), and a slope of less than 15° (slopes over 6° should be terraced). The organic matter content in the soil should be > 1%, and th
