Scope
This standard specifies the colorimetric spectrophotometric method for determining methanol in ambient air and waste gas from unorganized and fixed pollution sources. This standard is applicable to the determination of methanol in ambient air and waste gas within the territory of Shanxi Province. When the volume of the sample is 5 mL, the detection limit of the method is 1.45 μg, and the lower limit of determination is 5.80 μg.
