Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality certificates for lithium discs, as well as the content of contracts (or purchase orders).
This standard applies to lithium discs made from battery-grade metallic lithium, which are extruded and stamped for use in lithium-manganese and other lithium series button-cell batteries.
