Scope

This procedure is applicable to the verification of standard radiation temperature sensors (hereinafter referred to as temperature sensors) that use thermoelectric stacks as detection elements, have a distance coefficient of 20, and a temperature measurement range of 400°C to 2,000°C, whether they are newly manufactured, in use, or repaired.
Note: The distance coefficient refers to the ratio of the measurement distance to the minimum effective diameter of the object being measured required for that distance.
