Scope

This procedure is applicable to the ferric sulfate (Fricke) dosimeter, which is used as a national absorbed dose reference, to verify newly manufactured, in-use, and repaired radiation processing-grade water absorption dose standard dosimeters in a water phantom. The verification is conducted in a radiation field of 60Co or 137Cs gamma rays.
When verifying working dosemeters with standard dosemeters, the verification method can be referred to this procedure.
