Scope
This standard applies to flat-panel televisions that operate normally under grid voltage and mainly function in receiving, demodulating, and displaying terrestrial, cable, satellite, or other analog and digital signals, including but not limited to liquid crystal televisions (LCD TVs) and organic light-emitting diode televisions (OLED TVs); it also applies to flat-panel display devices that mainly function as televisions but do not have tuners, and are circulated as television products. The green design product evaluation of other types of televisions can be referenced for use.
