Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for quantitative labeled immunoassay kits for prolactin, test methods, labels and user manuals, packaging, transportation, and storage.
This standard applies to kits used for quantitatively measuring prolactin based on the principle of double antibody sandwich assay.
This standard does not apply to semi-quantitative prolactin assay kits labeled with colloidal gold or other methods (such as test strips, etc.); various prolactin radioimmunoassay or immunoradiometry kits labeled with radioactive isotopes such as 125I.
